Changing the color of a wall can give you a new appreciation for a room

We all call somewhere home. If we’re lucky and we work hard at it, our home is a sanctuary that brings us comfort and expresses our aesthetic desires and personalities. Sometimes, though, an ugly carpet, bad trim, unimaginative lighting, or any number of eyesores detract from our enjoyment of our homes.

I find endless joy in helping my clients make their adequate houses into their ideal homes. Some of us don’t quite fit the mold and what we want to see in our homes can reflect this truth. Something that makes me a little different is my respect and love for recycled building materials. If you want to use recycled materials for your project, making sure your builder is comfortable doing so is important. Unlike a lot of other builders, I am also eager to work with you on using repurposed and reused materials. Upcycling and reusing sound materials are environmentally sound, and affordable, and deliver a unique, weathered appearance that new materials lack. 

Comfort with materials beyond the norm is a special benefit of working with a builder who understands building science and how to solve problems creatively. Thanks to a broad background that includes everything from hanging sheetrock to basic electrical work to coordinating large, complex building projects, I can draw on my practical experience and theoretical understanding to make most dream homes a reality.
